Advancing Equity in Public Lands

Our partnership with the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a strategic collaboration aimed at embedding equity and inclusion into the very fabric of public land management. By working closely with the Conservancy, we have been able to influence planning processes to ensure that access and representation are prioritized for all communities.

This partnership is vital in our efforts to transform public spaces into welcoming environments where everyone, regardless of background, can feel a sense of ownership and connection to the land. A key outcome has been our partnership with Studio Zwede to unveil and elevate stories from disenfranchised communities as part of the development of the old Brandywine Golf Course. This project exemplifies our commitment to actively involving underrepresented groups in the park's stewardship and reimagining.

Together, Syatt and the Conservancy continue to explore new ways to make public lands more inclusive and equitable. Our joint efforts are paving the way for a future where everyone can experience the beauty and benefits of our nation’s natural treasures.
