We've seen what happens when communities are left out. This program is about understanding how we got here, and how to shape what comes next.

Syatt Civics is for young people ready to learn how systems actually work. You'll explore how decisions are made at the local, state, and federal levels, and how to engage with them in a real way.

Program Highlights

• In-person sessions and virtual learning
• Real conversations about community issues

• Local, state, and Washington, DC travel
• Visits to other communities to understand shared challenges

Timeline

• Spring: Group convening and learning sessions
• Summer–Fall: Travel and field experiences
• Scheduling will be flexible to support participant availability
